New look! This name change is coinciding with the foundry’s 5th birthday and to celebrate, I thought I would confuse everyone about my identity (I joke, I joke). Moving forward, we will be called Arcane Type Foundry and we believe fonts are magic!

Sometimes other people make cool things and I wonder why I didn’t make a similar cool thing that I had an idea for but haven’t got around to it yet. Then I realize they are a team of 12 people and I am just me. Wish I could do that “mirror image” spell and my copies could all work for me.

In my typography class this week, I play-tested a little combining type game where I made them all “become” a typeface and speed-date each other to find a good match. It was a blast.
