I’ve written repeatedly on the blog that far right groups inevitably implode, members WILL start infighting, and eventually the purity tests they enforce will continue to narrow those they believe are amongst the “in group”. This is all to say that the Dominion Society is certainly having a moment.

1/ Over the past several months that I’ve watched the Alberta separatists, it probably won’t be a surprise that there is a significant amount of bigotry and far-right conspiracy rhetoric in the ecosystem. One could do a big thread on that story, but this time went about that.

I took a second mortgage on my house to buy this small top sirloin, grilled medium done, will roasted potatoes and garlic cloves (I like mine crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside). Paired with a Haskap wine from Cypress Hills Winery on Saskatchewan in a Phoenician glass goblet.

A glass-top patio table on a backyard deck is set for an outdoor meal. A plate holds a grilled steak with crispy roasted baby potatoes beside a bottle of Cypress Hills Winery haskap wine and a blue-and-turquoise handblown wine glass. Wicker patio chairs surround the table, while potted plants, a green lawn, stacked firewood, and an outdoor fireplace create a warm, relaxed evening setting.

Tamara Lich wasn’t the only one at Pete Hoekstra’s Fourth of July bash I did a head count: Over a dozen Canadian far-right activists and right-wing alternative media personalities, (including from the Juno and Rebel media outlets) got invites to the US ambassador’s official residence
