My co-authors (Gabe Hrynick and Amy Fox) and I found that after the arrival of maize c. 1,000 years ago, houses became larger and more varied in shape in New England, but stayed the same in the Canadian maritimes where there was no maize. 🧪🏺 www.cambridge.org/core/journal...
