Ngl, the last one and half years has been so harrowing. I don't have words for the grief, pain & anxiety within me. An endless stream of blood tests, scans, doctor consultations, hospitalizations, one after the other, w no respite in between. I don't know when I'll feel excited about life/art again.

Thank you to everyone who's donated or reached out. Your support and prayers mean a lot to us. My mum had her first chemo this weekend. Fingers crossed she's on the road to recovery 🧿🙏

🚨Major Life Update + Call for Help: After my father passed away from cancer last July, my mother's health quickly deteriorated. Last month, by God's grace, she finally underwent dialysis and stenting, followed by a high-risk surgery to remove a giant malignant tumor from her abdomen. (1/n)

It's 2026 and I've realized with a slow sense of horror that what a miracle and a privilege it is that some of us still have the right to vote, unlike the lakhs and lakhs of Indians who have been denied by the fascist government still wearing the facsimile of 'democracy'.

Not only am I madly excited for their latest film (which is unlikely to release in India), I can't wait to read their first horror novel! Fingers crossed I can somehow land a review copy.

Got very excited to learn that WITCH HAT ATELIER is finally getting an anime adaptation. The first three episodes are brilliant, wondrously painted with a Ghibli-esque touch, and if they do it right, I'm sure this will go down as one of the best fantasy anime shows ever made.

It's been ages since I went to the movies, but I think Project Hail Mary was decent fun, though I enjoyed The Martian wayyy more and had to suspend my disbelief at how quickly the stranded human and alien learned to communicate.
