Time to start begging developers to add VRR docked mode to Switch 2 games. Unfortunately, it’s not enabled by default, it needs to be patched in. Hoping that Digital Eclipse gets the memo. Hamster too for their Arcade Archives 2 games.

Very saddened to hear of Mike McFarland’s passing. Had the pleasure of interviewing him some years ago and you could tell how much care he put into his work. Such a talented actor, writer and director. May he rest in peace.

VRR support for Switch 2 in docked mode is gonna be a game changer, and I hope many games take advantage of the feature.

Nintendo just casually enabling VRR during docked mode in a Thursday firmware update with no fanfare…. I hope this means more games will support it!

The Ghost In The Shell has ended, and while I loved this adaptation, I do wonder where the franchise goes from here. Will they keep going and adapt Human Error Processor and Man-Machine Interface? Honestly, I can’t see anyone touching MMI due how bizarre it is.

The OoT remake art style was going to be controversial no matter what they did, but I like it. The only flaw for me, is I think young Link looks a little too baby-faced. And for what it’s worth, the original game is accessible on the console anyway, so no big deal in my opinion. #ZeldaDirect

I’m pretty sure Nintendo is not using ray-tracing on OOT there’s still a lot of really complex lighting going on in this game.

The only things I felt were truly missing from this #ZeldaDirect: 1) A trailer for the movie (which is odd, because they brought it up only to show literally nothing) 2) Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD ports to Switch. Come on, these can’t stay on Wii-U forever.

Stand Alone Complex did a better job with the Brain Drain storyline (the last 5 or 6 episodes of the first season) than the original manga. Although changes were made to fit the Laughing Man storyline, I think it’s for the better, especially the character writing and political backroom dealings.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, none of Middle Eastern real world nations are mentioned in the final arc of the Ghost In The Shell manga and replaced by a fake ones in the 2026 adaptation. Again, not surprising considering the recent headlines generated over the last few years.

Just saw the GTA 6 extended look and that is actually insane looking. I really hope the PS5 version has gyro aiming though. That would push me into picking up that version.

I'm typically very hesitant to comment at all on celebrity deaths because they tend to be news stories that I'll likely cover and I have a policy about keeping my personal social media feeds clear of anything that might end up under my purview at work, but Peter Cullen's passing just hits too close.

Am I misremembering? There’s a lot of expanded material in the latest Ghost In The Shell episode that isn’t in the manga, right? I won’t specify to avoid spoilers but like, yeah, it’s odd considering how nearly beat-for-beat it’s been close to the manga.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet those "unavoidable reasons" were Nintendo having to raise the price of Switch carts due to the on-going memory shortage. They probably raised them enough that we might see more devs and publishers either raise game prices for physical or switch to Game-Key Cards.
