Just 2 more weeks until the release of my author-illustrator debut, AT THE COOKOUT! I wrote this story for my cousins, my grandmother, my whole family, & for all of us. It’s a celebration, a love letter to the culture, & a hope that we continue to uplift and spread love through these traditions.
