Watched Fallen Angels, I loved the cinematography, it was a great look into the paths lives cross and diverge. The structure was a bit confusing overall, but it did keep me very engaged.

Finished watching There Will Be Blood, insanely good movie. The performances are all incredible and the story is not only great on a surface level, the layers of it make it fantastic.
On tonight’s Harvest Moon, we have a fresh key visual for Gundam X's 30th-anniversary! The new artwork brings together original character designer Nobuyoshi Nishimura and mechanical designer Junya Ishigaki.
Finished watching Duel, what a great movie. This guy Spielberg is pretty good, the minimalism of dialogue and score, the way it builds tension, and the cinematography has some beautiful shots. There’s just enough structure to set up the plot, but I love that so much is open to interpretation.

Finished watching Mr. Baseball, its a surprisingly decent movie about two guys learning to under each other through the power of baseball. Also those guys are Tom Selleck and Ken Takakura.
Finished watching Crank and Crank: High Voltage. They’re fun movies, if dated to their time. The editing was interesting but confusing. Very fun for what they are.
Finished watching Umamusume season 2… it’s about dreams, perseverance, and miracles. It’s a top tier work that should be a must watch for anyone that’s ever competed in anything. Tokai Teio you are goated
This is how it feels to make new guy friends when you’re a grown man.
Sarah Z@sarahz.bsky.social · 4w agoA truly heartwrenching moment. I think the ambiguity in the original Japanese was beautifully preserved.
The best part of being an artist is that you can just draw whatever dumb idea comes to your head at 1am
Finished watching Gundam Build Divers, every Build so far improves on the idea, and Divers has a lot of nice improvements, in concept and story. With a bigger roster some of the characters aren’t deep, but they each get their own attention. Some of the mobile suit designs were real fun too.
Finished watching Coyote vs. Acme, what a fun time! It would have been a shame if this never saw the light of day, the character animation is really cool and it's got some really funny moments. Every day I dream of the reckoning of David Zaslav
This Proplica G-Controller (from Gundam X) is so freakin’ neat! ⚡️
Tamashii Nations on the Gundam X Train, with both a Metal Robot Spirits Gundam Double X (1/144-ish scale) and Proplica G-Controller (1/1 scale) announced!
Finished watching Yojimbo, another great Kurosawa film. I was struck by how much use he got out of the set of just one small town. Toshiro Mifune seems to excel at any role he’s in, and the story is executed so well.
Finished watching Escape From New York; it’s just cool from start to finish, and it’s easy to see its influence in culture today. Such a fun watch, it doesn’t waste a minute of runtime. The casting is super good, they all do a great job.
Finished watching Linda Linda Linda; what a great movie about the springtime of youth. I was a big fan of the cinematography, there were some really creative and evocative shots. Seeing everything come together at the end was really beautiful.
