Dragon Deity 002: Sun . This one took a bit longer than the first one and has turned out more elaborate, but I'm hoping the difference in style is not too much. I wanted to make it look radiant and searing hot, the Sun being an ever burning, relentless source of fire. #dragon #fantasy #worldbuilding
First of potentially a series of dragon deities, aimed to become prints for Vienna ComicCon. This one is based around infinite knowledge and intellectual power. It is seated between the stars, gazing upon them and unraveling their secrets one flicker at a time. Its eyes ever present, ever watching.

I am in a bit of a defeated mood today. And as of late, in general. Art isn't paying off and savings are all but diminished. A lot of work recently has been for nothing and with the current EU laws, shipping is becoming impossible. Are dragons still loved? Here is one. I struggle with drawing them.

All of the display pieces for @dinoconuk.bsky.social are finished. I‘m not sorting through the resin kits and doing a count, finalising print curing for the remaining ones and will then think about final pricing. This marathon is about to come to an end!

48cm tall, 61cm longest extention (head to tail, not stretched out). 71cm if extended, for an animal 25m long. Only bringing one Giraffatitan to DinoCon so you‘ll have to be quick!
I ran an absolutely 100% human, zero AI-involvement at any stage passage of my writing through an "AI detector," curious if it could really tell human from AI work, and it said my own writing was "84% AI written" then asked I wanted to pay to have it "humanized." So there's that to keep in mind.

I can not express how much I loathe living in a time where companies hide behind chatbots and customer AIs to prevent them from having to take any responsibility for the abysmal service and garbage behaviour of their employees while also creating a work environment that's just exploitative af... ):
genuinely concerned that if AI goes bankrupt I might shrug so hard I dislocate both shoulders
Started with custom bases for the display models (since I ran out of primer)! The little foot prints! I‘m using DAS clay to cover the base before flocking, we‘ll see how well that holds.
It baffles and infuriates me that there are seemingly sensible people who don‘t (want to) understand that a ‚tool‘ that is trained on stolen data cannot ever be used ethically and responsibly. You‘re not on a moral high ground, you are actively contributing to the crime.
Should I be working on my prints and wrapping them up for @dinoconuk.bsky.social? Yes. Should I also finalise assembling and then painting the display models (which will also be for sale)? Also yes. Did I instead start to completely rework my old Giraffatitan brancai model and beef him up a lot?
Finishing assembly on the 1/35 scale display models I‘m bringing to @dinoconuk.bsky.social. Still curing loads of the kits that will be for sale and painting will take quite a bit of time as well! Better keep at it…
