Lack of thought and logic behind imagery and sentences. Too much repetition of certain syntax. Human writing comes from the body, mimics speech and breath; the shape & length of arguments match human thought. AI has no body, no breath, no thought, and does things that run counter to bodily writing.

I had not thought of the more vulnerable writer who is afraid their human writing could be mistaken for AI and thus PAY an AI to "humanize" their human writing...thus, ironically, rendering it tainted by AI after all. (I would basically challenge anyone to a dual who suggested my writing was AI.)

Usually "AI detectors" can trip up because a lot of that shit is scraped from human produced data. Much like the slop, it's just pattern prediction. But this is just a vile attempt at getting both insecure people to pay up "to not get mistaken for slop" (ironic!) and to fool the Sloppers for money.

I think the best AI detectors are PEOPLE, who can tell that something is not right, that there is no THERE there.

AI detectors are really AI. AI makes too many mistakes. This is why they call the Bible and the constitution AI when they run it through these things. Stop using AI detectors. They're faulty because AI is trained on OUR human writing.

Writers of narrative nonfiction: how strict are you about details used to set scenes? I am extremely strict and will use only details that have documentation, sources, otherwise it cannot be stated as fact. However it seems not everyone works like this?
