Nothing much, just wanted to yap again about how drastically different Buzzy looks in my AU, in terms of body type. Like, yeah, he’s still ultra short, but he’s noticeably more muscular, which not even the animatronic has that lol.

A 2D render of my version of Buzzy from the former Epcot attraction Cranium Command. It's sort of an in between of the animatronic, which had brown hair, blue eyes and more of a bottom-heavy look to his face, and the cartoon design, which was way more visually diminutive. Some aspects were added like some freckles on his cheeks and most notably, a more muscular build. The latter being from a time skip. The AU takes place 4 years after the events of the show, so I decided show that Buzzy has gained more physical strength and confidence. I've also changed the brown colors to be more reddish to contrast with the green colors of his hat, shirt, and pants.

The art style is mostly lineless with subtle gradients and a rim light.

(Apologies if this sounds messy, I hate the English language.)

Vinyl is a humanoid robot with a mostly human-like facial features. They have long flowing straight hair and skin-like silicone on the lower half of their head. Instead of actual eyes, they have a visor with a screen displaying simple dots and lines for eyes and eyebrows.

A 3D model of my animatronic OC, Rocket. He has very cartoony proportions and is of small stature, with short black hair, warm beige latex mask (technically his skin), thick eyebrows, long eyelashes and big eyes with cameras for pupils. When it comes to fashion, he’s wearing his usual indigo and pink baseball cap, black and purple jacket, white shirt, indigo and pink gloves, light blue cuffed jeans and indigo shoes with pink shoelaces.

The model mostly uses a toon shader from an add on called Paint System and an NPR Glass shader for the details of the cameras.

Loki, one of my alien OCs for my story idea, Castaways. They are a koala-like alien with big bat-like ears, large golden yellow eyes and opposable thumbs on each of their hands and feet, though the former have two thumbs instead of just one. Their body is covered in fur-like fibers with a coloration similar to a white faced owl, with mostly grey and white on the body and bits of black surrounding the eyes and on the tips of the ears. Though their species typically walks on all fours, Loki prefers to be bipedal, as shown in this piece where they are walking towards the viewer with a bit of a mischievous look.

Buzzy, the main character from the former Epcot attraction, Cranium Command. He has a close resemblance to Radar from MASH though stylized to be more exaggeratedly diminutive, with huge glasses, dot eyes and no visible hair, lol. I made a new poster with Vinyl, Rocket and R.J. I figured it would be fair after updating Rocket’s design. #robot #animatronic #OCsky #scifi

A poster my story idea “Soul in The Machine” featuring the main three robot characters, Vinyl, Rocket and RJ. All of them are humanoid, but look drastically different. Vinyl has long brown hair, a silver visor with a screen showing two red dots for eyes and a more human-like lower half of their face with peach silicone skin. They wear a black and blue pullover and light blue cuffed jeans.

Out of the three, Rocket is technically to most human looking, but he’s more cartoony looking, as he’s an animatronic. He has black hair, thick eyebrows, long eyelashes and beige latex skin. His outfit consists of an indigo and pink baseball cap, black jacket with purple collar rims, white shirt, indigo and pink gloves, and light blue cuffed jeans.

R.J. is the most robotic of the trio, only having a gold helmet with a black screen for a head and two green dots for eyes. He wears a red and black hoodie, white shirt and dark blue jeans.

The background is a tropical dry forest trail with some tall cacti on a sunny day with some rain clouds in the distance.

The art style for the characters is similar to a toon shaded 3D model and the background is more painterly.

Here’s an animatronic that honestly doesn’t look like a bot in this piece lol. It’s more obvious IRL by proportions and texture. Though Free Willy had an actual whale actor (Keiko), some scenes would use an animatronic for some scenes. #animatronic #orca #fanart

Though it may not seem like one in this piece, it’s actually quite obvious IRL, as the proportions, while trying to capture Keiko’s likeness, are a bit off. It’s kinda short and stocky looking with visually tiny pectoral flippers. The markings are also a little bit off, with the eyepatch being slightly too big and the flank patch being small. Though North Atlantic orcas like Keiko tend to have similar proportions, he was a sprouting male at the time and might’ve also been underweight, so he was long and skinny looking. Another thing it didn’t capture right was his sort of peanut shape if that makes sense. It wasn’t peanut head, but rather the fact that his head was pretty big and round, so it gave him a similar shape even when in ideal weight.

All things considered though, it is one of the better orca animatronics and there obviously was no way to be 100% accurate without using an actual whale’s body as a mold. There were things they got right like the freckles he had and the skin problems on the arm section his pectoral flippers.

As per usual, the style of this piece is made to look like a toon shaded model, though unlike previous animatronic art, it’s made to look like a shot taken in a pool.

Another animal illustration. I’ve been meaning to draw Japanese resident orcas for a long time. They’re so distinct compared to other resident populations, with how slightly lankier they look and how certain individuals have super thin eyepatches. #orca #illustration #animalart #sciart

Their coloration is pretty much the same as most other killer whales, though they seem to have a yellowish tint to their white markings sometimes and like other residents, there’s a lot of individuals with open saddle patches. They also have longer bodies and their fins and flippers are noticeably larger, though the size varies depending on the sex, adult males having the largest in proportion to their body.

More animatronic art! This time, I decided to draw one of my local bots: a 16M Studio C Chuck E from the Bayamón location in Puerto Rico. He’s my favorite out on the 3 local Chucks, since his fur is the perfect length and his shoes are mismatched, lol. #chuckecheese #CEC #animatronics #fanart

He also has thick black eyebrows and blue eyes. Unlike what most people think of when they hear of a CEC animatronic, this bot is pretty on model with what Chuck E.’s cartoon design looked like in 1998, although this one was probably made later on, as the specific look I chose is based on the on in the Bayamón location here in Puerto Rico. Speaking of which, most of the cosmetics look like the typical Rockstar Chuck outfit, except his shoes are mismatched, with his right one having more parallel laces and the left shoe having crisscrossed laces.

Going back to the animatronic fanart with one of the best out there, Mitzi Mozzarella. Obviously, for those familiar, this isn’t her usual outfit. While browsing on Pinterest, I came across some pics where she had these clothes instead and I thought it looked good. #animatronic #rockafireexplosion

Church Mouse Furbies are sort of a brownish grey color with some subtle stripes, a white belly, white mane, light grey ears with a pink inner ear, cream face and orange feet. In the case of Boo, they have brown eyes, but this varies.
