Happy to have my little goblin home. Hurt my heart to leave him at the hospital, but it was an understandable necessity.
Kei / Leo@keihound.bsky.social · 7d agoHe practically flew into @aryte.bsky.social 's arms, I'm certain he thought he was back at the shelter for almost two days. Man I hate that. He's home now though, not feeling great but sleeping and seemingly improving.
Another appointment today with a cancer specialist. Doctor thinks Eva is a good candidate for Stereotactic Radiation Therapy, which could significantly extend her life over palliative care. Biopsy and CT scan first, but its at least a slightly more positive moment in this sequence of horrible news.

She was a parvo puppy and the shelter was going to euthanize her. I fell in love at first sight and nearly stole her when they didn't want to release her until she was spayed.
