Doing a public transport. Holmes Chapel, known as the town Harry Styles grew up in, the station is like a mini shrine and there’s a gang of young girls gathering and talking about him non stop. Haven’t told them he sang at a mates wedding years ago, genuinely nice lad and could sing a bit.

Lil’ Panda did me proud, unexpected award winner, just for doing what I do (helping herd the lost, fix the broken and generally being my usual charming(ish) self). Funball 2026 was a blast, and I’ll be back next year for number 8. Northwards now to Germany.
Well that was quite a 41 hours. Almost 1000 miles driven, but barely any actual distance covered, let me explain… 6.30am leave home in Cheshire to get fuel and meet friends, leave at 7.00 am and head for another friends at Kettering…

One more day of stress, then tomorrow morning start the holiday, first stop tomorrow is IWM Duxford as it’s sort of en-route and I’ve never been, then early train Saturday into France and wind our way down to Lake Garda on Tuesday for a couple of days. Registration for next years Funball is open.
