When you pay off a credit card or mortgage, the bank can’t charge you interest on repayments you’ve already made. That would be illegal. But when the government does it, it’s fine and normal. Sign my petition today to fix HECS. We've done it before, let's do it again.

MSM coverage of the tax reforms reminds me of the coverage of the super profits tax during Gillard’s reign. And 15 years later, we are still not reaping the benefits of our resources. Coverage like the below would be better. www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...

The solution to out-of-control private consulting fees is to provide a public service that eliminates the need for most people to pay for private insurance and related fees out of their own pocket. #MedSky

Our farm is simply exploding with diverse wildflowers and butterflies at the moment, like this holly blue on bluebell. And there's *so* much birdsong. Rewilding doesn't just bring back the wild. It re-floods our own lives with intoxicating natural colour and sound.

Two doses are required, 8 weeks apart, so start as soon as you can because the Northern hemisphere outbreak is likely to come our way 👇😱. In states without funded vaccines, it will cost $200-300. Definitely less than the cost of a young life 💔. 2/2 www.bbc.com/news/article...

Finally done! I think I will most likely only wear it on the coloured side. I love how the patterns mimics branding at centre front. Zoom in to have a look. And I had been sad that the centre front pattern would be lost with the binding, but it has actually been enhanced!

Multi-striped jacket with a variety of stripes, bound with a chevron binding at neckline, front and hems, as well as sleeve hems.Reverse side is black and white multi-stripes. Shows the shoulder seams as well as armhole seams are also bound with the same chevron binding.

This is slow going! After much thought and searching, I found the right bias binding for the jacket. On the right is the jacket before binding is applied. Will need to see if I can get more binding. 3m turned out to be insufficient. Far right is the reverse side.

Jacket with multi-coloured (black, cream, orange) and multi-design stripes, bound with a pink and orange binding at jacket fronts, neckline and hem.
The corners have been mitred.
Sleeves hems are turned up, but need to be bound and finished. Same jacket before edges have been bound. The reverse side of the jacket has black and white patterns with some pale browns. The bond stands out in contrast. The shoulder seams have Ali been bound.
The armhole seams remain to be finished (bound?), as well as the sleeve hems.

A little progress! Have sewn the front pieces together. The flat felled seams are working! Taking this slowly- more mental ruminations before physical labour. Turned out flat felling is easier if the edges are not overlocked. #geometryinaction!
