No offense to the other cities you visited & glad you had a great time, but re Asheville: it does have a way of getting into peoples' heads & hearts. After having that happen for awhile, we moved here several years ago & have never looked back. Surprisingly several outstanding Indian restaurants!

The so-called president of the United States is a massive money launderer and cut off by the bank that discovered it. Yet the story barely registers with the legacy media. What a disgrace.
Thank you to Asheville planning and zoning commission & city staff too. Last night, the commission not only approved eliminating single-family-only zoning, but also sent a strong message for Asheville to explore reforming its minimum lot sizes.
Asheville should prioritize employers that create good local jobs, improve infrastructure, and help reduce everyday costs–not employers that extract wealth or undermine better opportunities.
Unchecked tourism burdens our infrastructure, extracts resources, and displaces residents. I fight to protect Asheville by diversifying beyond tourism for a more balanced economy. I protected the Grey Eagle from the hotel overlay map and voted to fund growth of local manufacturing jobs.
A major investment in future, well-paying jobs for Asheville & Buncombe County, diversifying the local economy away from agriculture, tourism & healthcare not by reducing jobs in those fields (which are all important to the local economy), but by adding net new jobs in advanced manufacturing.
