Dylan and Henri officially meet when Henri gets traded midseason to the Turkeys. Dylan is mentally checked out because of a breakup, it's only when they come back for the next season that Dylan actually *notices* Henri. Henri is younger. He used to have Dylan's poster up in his room 😂 #SumLuv

being in the wrong time zone sucks for a variety of reasons, but mostly i lost my 4thewords streak because i forgot that it resets at 9 pm instead of midnight :(((( but now i've already gotten my words for tuesday and it's still monday XD
in a weird twist of fate, i went to a bookstore and did NOT buy myself a new book... but my gremlin children each picked one, so I'm still out 50 bucks (to be clear, i want both of them to read more and have many times promised to get them books if they read them. they rarely take me up on it)

I think it's obvious that I enjoy writing and that I especially enjoy writing hockey romance, but I don't want to claim I'm an expert. I've written several books in the genre (both stand alone and in a series), and with the huge spotlight cast on sports romance as a whole and hockey romance specifically, I thought I'd share my process for anyone wanting to dip their feet into the genre.

Why write a series in chronological order when you can instead let your characters bully you into another one?

my son has decided he's now into marvel. we have... a lot of catching up to do before doomsday. (this is a child who saw, technically, end game in theaters. he fell asleep. i tried to wake him up for the final battle. nope.)
me: lovely!! a female-focused mythology book rec!! love that there are people looking at mythology bc of the odyssey and using it to spotlight female characters from. who did they include? clytemnestra, penelope-- CLEOPATRA!? (when you see a myth book rec that includes an actual real life person)
