Parents will get blankets made of kids' old jerseys and they're super cute, but every time I see them I can only think about how f-ing sweaty and nasty those jerseys were at some point. I don't care how many times they've been washed, I remember the stank and don't want to wrap myself in it.
Eugepae! 🎉 I was able to repair five dictionaries. Some needed pages reattached (and alas I didn't have all the pages 🥲), some needed spine repair, and some needed new end pages to connect the cover back to the text block

i used to craft a lot as a kid. it was my favorite thing to get a random new craft to try, then for years i did cross stitch. i stopped some time during middle school, probably because my studies got harder and i had to spend more time on hw. i've recently gotten back into it and just love it...
I literally have no control over which side characters a) exist on page and b) are important. Writing my Amanda/Anders short story and now Amanda has a roommate and Anders has a teammate, both of whom I intended to just list as existing and now they keep talking....

I think sometimes side characters are overlooked, especially in romance, I think they're really important to the story. They're the support system for the love interests, and they help us see who those characters are outside of the romance. It's also why I try to give the characters hobbies and lives out of the romance (and hockey) -- it builds who the character is, to see how they spend their life before the love interest, the type of relationships they have and prioritize, and how they fold the romance into that existing structure.

Dylan's toxic ex is still around, even if it's rarely. It was a long relationship and Dylan's only one, so there's definitely a lot of bagge. But it's NOT a love triangle - Dylan knows who he wants! Henri doesn't need to be jealous (even if sometimes he can't help it). #SumLuv

I started back at work again... It's been 3 days and I'm exhausted. I haven't written all week because all I do at home is the kids' stuff and eat dinner because I'm just too brain dead to do anything else......
My hand hurts after word vomiting all six active voice tenses onto an answer key for students (there's a back. And I did all five declensions in a similar page earlier today. My hand 😭😭😭 thank god they don't know passive voice yet)
