I was in Japan for a conference, and on one of my free days I took a workshop to refurbish an original Game Boy. It was so much fun I went back the next day and built a Game Boy Advance too. Then I hit a vintage game store and picked up a bunch of games. Best decision. 🥹🎮

A hand holding two custom refurbished handheld consoles: a classic Game Boy with a translucent glitter shell, bright pink screen bezel, green buttons, and pink accents displaying a Kirby game, and a translucent Game Boy Advance with colorful illuminated buttons displaying a Mario game. Logged in to see my blog post making the rounds again. This time I’ve apparently been declared “not actually neurodivergent,” and the replies are genuinely heinous. Being called an AI tech bro was not on my 2026 bingo card. Anyway, I’m just blocking people and moving on.

What’s a word or phrase you grew up saying that you didn’t realize was wrong until you were too old? Mine was “Chester drawers.” My Southern mom called it that my entire childhood, so I just accepted that Chester invented drawers. I was in my mid 20s before someone slowly said “chest of drawers.”

It’s fair to disagree. But “has never used these models” is an odd takeaway. I use them every day. The post wasn’t about replacing management with AI. It was about building systems around my own blind spots, which, as a neurodivergent person was something I was doing long before AI.

Ok, after actually reading the blob post, and not just the bluesky post i"m doubling down. The bluesky post was written by someone who has never used these models, but this blog post was written by a flat out incompetent manager who is using it as a crutch instead of attempting self improvement

Got the Oura Ring 5. The 4 was lasting a full week and the MOMENT they announced the 5 it started dying every 23 hours. Twenty-three. Not even a full day. My ring saw the press release and chose death. It's thinner and lighter though so congrats Oura, the psyop worked.

I must be going through something because I’ve been on an absolute comfort food tear lately. Also, I’ve reached the age where pizza is no longer a spontaneous decision. It’s an event. There is prep. There is planning. There is recovery. Anyway, I’m having pizza.
