Ep 27- have you heard deep learning called a "black box"? It often is, but this week, @erinweisbart.bsky.social tells @bethcimini.bsky.social about a cool paper from the @assafzaritsky.bsky.social team (and Erin!) using DL to make Cell Painting even more powerful, but still interpretable. So fun!

Unveiling crucial insights into nuclear growth in hiPSC colonies. By analyzing 3D timelapse data, our Cell Science team has shown how cell lineage & environment shape cellular behavior. This timelapse illuminates the height of nuclei from 4μm (turquoise) to 11μm (fuchsia). 🔗👇
