1. Just to be clear, the KIDS Act contains #KOSA 2. KOSA has a rider that nullifies state AI regulations & puts a moratorium on future ones, which is not only bad in itself but also means this alleged "child safety" legislation SHIELDS AI NUDIFIER APPS - the same ones used on kids' & teens' pictures

There is no time to waste. The free internet is at stake. See replies for how to look up your representative.
Before anyone begins doomposting: There are still two stops it has to pass before it gets into law. And the senate doesn't like the House version of KOSA so there's a chance it doesn't pass. But don't just assume.

I keep seeing people thinking this is a bluesky problem. If you're seeing this it thinks you're in a state or country with age verification laws. This is what every social media site will do if KOSA and the KIDS Act succeeds. Running to another socmed won't fix it, we have to fight the source.

Deviantart was THE leading platform for artists. Anyone who was anyone was on that website, from brand new artists, to seasoned professionals, to passionate appreciators & fans. It's incredible that they literally had everything, and then lost it all. Ignoring users, investing into crypto, AI, etc.
