"what can I do?" Call your reps and tell them to vote no on the Online Safety bill package because things will get worse the more censorship laws are allowed to pass. Tell your reps that payment processors must allow legal content. Go yell at youtube for their shitty TOS.
The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

Just a heads up, use this link to voice your concerns/opposition to this potential move. Ideally I don't want this at all, but at the very least any AI training features should be optional and opt-out BY DEFAULT. 'Creators MAY be able to opt out of SOME data' is pathetic & nowhere near enough.

So AI was used early on so the ChatGPT thing wasn’t a total lie unless that was totally scrapped in the final product of script or “research”. It’s clear no artwork be it background artists or animation is AI involved but if it’s used in “research” and kept then yes, ai was involved.

If you've been sharing the theory that the Avatar AI text was added by an unaffiliated artbook author, we now have official confirmation that it was actually a character artist very early on in production, with assurances that it was the only time it happened, as far as they know.
