HERE IT IS: Earlier this month, without any planning, I drove 6 hrs to the desert to capture the last full lunar eclipse until December 2028 Over 3 hours I shot over 3000 stills, but not the stars Last Tuesday I drove 4 hrs to capture the stars After 30+ hrs figuring out editing, this is DONE 🧵

15 phases of the moon captures between March 2nd at 12:37 and March 3rd at 4:36AM; the moon goes full full to crescent, then red and back towards crescent. the foreground is of a joshua tree and rocks with light pollution; the light pollution is from the original foreground. no milky way due to it being on the other side of the sky
