If an Indian historian does a fresh research and aims to correct the timelines and facts, it is nationalism and ahistorical because it doesn’t fit the existing narrative. Those who insist on arguing based on facts suddenly resort to labelling us as nationalists or ahistorical.

Using astrology to judge someone is outright unethical.

In Indic astrology, the lunar nodes are part of the "Navagraha" system of 9 classical planets. Even though they are referred to as 'Chhaya graha" or shadow planets, they are still multivalent in their symbolism. 1/

Some people try to be funny and make others laugh. Others try to be serious and accidentally produce comedy. “God takes sides in geopolitics” is one of those statements where theology, astrology (apparently intended original post) and stand-up comedy meet in the same phrase.

Time-lord systems supersede transits. Yet in Jyotiṣa, when working with the deeper levels (like 4th or 5th) of Vimśottari Daśā, the transits of planets must be studied carefully and without Aṣṭakavarga, one would largely be guessing about the strength and effectiveness of a transit.

The Moon in Aries receives the rays of Venus in Virgo through Mercury in Cancer. Mercury serves as an intermediary, transmitting the light of Venus to the Moon. In Hellenistic astrology, this is “transmission of light/rays”, rather than the modern quincunx.

This, this, this!! When you CHOOSE to mark a newsletter from a known astrologer as spam instead of simply unsubscribing or contacting said astrologer to be taken off the email list? That is causing harm WITH MALICIOUS INTENT. Simply vile--and from people who should know better.

Claiming that domestic Vedic rituals cannot be performed by a common man is an opinion, not textual knowledge or wisdom. It is partly racist, and simply reflects the mentality that is not inclusive.
