In my research on lunar nodes, I've been contemplating them AND eclipses for a long time. In my first talk on the nodes, I talk about how eclipses are not portals or a reset, but COMPRESSION OF TIME. I also mentioned it in my blog post last year: www.bodhimindful.com/blog/thinkin...

Thinking About Eclipses — Bodhi Mindful

I’ve been thinking about the upcoming eclipse season and wanted to share some thoughts. We have a total lunar eclipse on the North Node at Pisces 15°24' on September 7th (UK time). And then we have a ...

PSA: Astrological transits to the natal chart ARE NOT DELINEATED THE SAME as mundane astrological transits (which are often much harsher in general). For example, I had a Mars-Saturn conjunction right on top of one of my luminaries a few years ago. 1/8

I'm not normally one to quote the NYT, but this hits home because it's the very thing that is vital to being a good astrologer, Reiki practitioner, coach, teacher, and whatever else you might be doing in the world: "...curiosity puts the entire brain into a mode of heightened receptivity"

The lunar nodes are more than just decrease/increase because symbols are multivalent. Ketu is intuition. Rahu is instinct. Ketu is the collective/unconscious group turbulence. Rahu is individual ambition/quest for social status.

Just published a piece on the upcoming Cancer New Moon (I'm early for once!) where I talk about looking at the lunation through both the radix placements and their dodecatemoria/12th Parts--you can read it here: www.bodhimindful.com/blog/cancer-...

Cancer New Moon & The Power of Possibility — Bodhi Mindful

What is the energy behind the upcoming Cancer New Moon? How can we parse its meaning through a look at not just the radix chart, but the 12th Parts as well?

Every time Joli’s books open I have to remind everyone that it’s been 3 years and I still think of what we discussed. Still relevant, still unpacking it all. (12th parts session). And having recently been able to hear some of her talks on the nodes??? The perspective is 🤯 Anyways 👇 get on that

They're back! My 2 "summer specials" are back--I'm once again offering 60-minute sessions looking at your choice of either the 12th Parts or the Lunar Nodes. These sessions also count towards the natal consultation needed before booking in a Revolutions of the Year or Solar Return reading with me

What the creative person and the mad person have in common is that they are not confined to a single self located in the ego, but their subjectivity extends across a spectrum of possibilities.~David Tacey, How to Read Jung

This is a Pom-pom crab. No, really 😄 🦀 (Also Boxer crab or Cheerleader crab) The pink structures are actually living sea anemones that the crab holds in its claws for defense and to help mop up food particles. If one anemone is lost, the crab clones another by tearing it in half to regenerate.

As someone who ponders the 12th Parts deeply, I get frustrated by those who look at the elemental balance in the natal chart and act like it's the end-all-be-all of who the native is in this lifetime. Like what a way to be reductioninst! Framing things is key to perspective.

Summer solstice–the start of astronomical summer–was this morning at 4:24 a.m. EDT. The hottest parts of summer are still weeks away, but this year’s solstice does include above-normal temperatures in the Mid-Atlantic, Southern Plains, and Pacific Northwest.

NOAA graphic explaining the Summer Solstice on June 21, 2026 at 4:24 a.m. ET and comparing Earth’s orientation during the June and December solstices. Two side-by-side satellite images of Earth are shown from the sun-facing side. On the left, labeled “Summer Solstice View – June,” the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the sun, with the equator marked below the center of the globe. On the right, labeled “Winter Solstice View – December,” the Northern Hemisphere is tilted away from the sun, with the equator appearing higher on the globe. The graphic illustrates how Earth’s tilt changes sunlight distribution between summer and winter solstices, creating the longest and shortest daylight periods of the year.

One simple and reliable technique when looking at solar return charts is to notice when the natal Asc sign and SR chart rising are the same. Part of the reason that particular year will tend to speak to some kind of milestone is because the solar return chart is replicating the natal chart
