Well that was a dramatic sunrise from Glastonbury Tor! More photos to follow later as it went from a very dark inky blue with flashes of red appearing in the clouds to this beautiful golden sunrise. Put it this way, I had to move quickly to capture it all 😂

As usual I’ve launched #OnePlaceWednesday with a photo of fabulous Fawsley, my local #OnePlaceStudy. But it’s my Waters Upton OPS that has occupied me over the last week or so. I’ve been busy adding records to the Waters Upton tree/forest at Ancestry—also adding people, bringing the total to 8,000!

Image: Photo showing the trunk (on the right) and lower branches (spreading out across the image, to the left side) in a sheep pasture with lots of dry grass and a couple of sheep. On the far side of the field, visible below the oak tree's branches, is a large country house consisting of several parts built at differnt times over several centuries.
One-Place Studies, where family history and local history unite.

At some point very soon, humanity is going to have to realize that taking care of each other & our home planet aren’t weird, fringe, hippie ideals. They are vital to the survival of life as we know it.
