I'm taking a semiglutide pill but I'm seriously considering switching back to the injections for a couple reasons. 1. You only have to do the injections one a week instead of take it every day 2. I had way fewer side effects on the injections while the pill gives me aggressive gas

Whenever I think of pie ala mode I remember this one video of a French guy visiting the US and when he sees that on the menu he goes "Pie in the style of... pie in the style of what?" and when they explain what it means he calls them all idiots.

We were watching the new Mortal Kombat 2 movie and at one point Johnny Cage makes a reference to Lord of the Rings which is especially funny because Karl Urban was also in that movie. Specifically as Eomer.

The newest GITS episode has a perverted guy say about the Major "I can smell her white blood from here" (i.e. she's an android) and she flips him off. Except they pixellate the middle finger.

Someone asked me what my skincare routine was when they found out I'm 36 and I think they meant it as a compliment but it was kind of funny. Came off as "but you don't look like an old hag!" (For the record, Cetaphil moisturizer with SPF 35)

BTW in the new season of King of the Hill Hank says Trans rights. Long story short he ends up with backyard chickens and one of the hens is basically transmasc (a thing that really happens) and Hank is supportive.

I went down a rabbit hole after seeing someone with a supposed pet honey badger and my instinct was right and it was fake. It was disturbing how convincing it was but enough was off about the presentation that I clued in on it.

I hate how marketing, especially for TTROG projects, has just turned into "For fans of [franchise]" instead of telling us anything about the content! Rather cynically it makes me think that it can't stand on its own merits and has to coast on nostalgia.

Now that I officially have Alanik Ray and Arthur Sedgewick in my Darkon campaign the players are soon gonna learn that I can't shut up about these two. There's a ton of background stuff we might not get to in game I love talking about.

Roommate tried to watch the new Ghost In The Shell and decided it wasn't for him which is valid but he was saying "anime didn't used to be like that" and I pointed out the new one is almost a 1:1 adaptation of the original manga from 1989. So he is wrong!

Just had my follow up ortho appointment and I can come out of the stupid boot. They're estimating another 4 weeks or so being out. By my math if they approve me to go back to work I might have a week or of work so before me and dad leave for our cruise at the end of August.

One funny thing I've seen from other people talking about their Ravenloft campaigns is everybody is thirsty for van Richten. Hence my joke I should just rename my campaign DILF Kingdom. Because there have been several of them.

My roommate said something that was kind of interesting cuz I made a reference to wanting to get the new Ravenloft sourcebook and he said it's a little surprising I love that setting so much because it's to quote him "very rapey."

Roommate just talked at me because I made the mistake of mentioning the Graham Platner mess. And on the one hand he was probably the best shot of getting rid of Collins but I'm also glad a guy with a history of getting Nazi tattoos and violence towards women is not on the Dem ticket.
