It is often posited that sitting Repubkican members of Congress do Trump’s bidding because they are worried about out being “primaried.” I would think that concerns about being targeted by the DOJ are also on their minds.

New: On Monday, HHS withdrew guidance reminding nursing-home owners they can’t impede residents from voting. The administration replaced it with a new memo alluding to instances when Republicans sicced sheriffs and prosecutors on people helping nursing-home residents vote.
