I ended buying the Big Wak game even if I know it's going to end sitting unused and it hit me: this is boardgames. This scratch the same itch as buying boardgames knowing I will never open them, except this is better because they don't take shelf space.
LRP: I liked this one quite a bit, so happy we are going to see another VN.
Atomic@atomicrunner.bsky.social · 2y agoI've just played the short Visual Novel "I Just Wanna Go Home" and this game is a looker. It really does a lot with its presentation. Really neat short experience. And for two dollars right now well worth the price of admission, imo.

I'm trembling while writing this: Kamaitachi no yoru—not the PC remake, not the iOS port, but the actual original SFC version—has been translated at last by ButThouMust, who graciously brought us an English patch for Otogirisou in the past. This is HISTORICAL.
I think after last week and this weekend I am starting to develop a complex about my voice.
I've been looking for a way to show this with english subtitles for months now. Via streaming is impossible and there are "no other means" copies whatsoever: my only option is to buy a DVD copy from Brazil.

The inaccesiblity (no english subtitles afaik) and its themes (the director trying to reconnet with his dad who left twenty years ago) make it hard to recommend. But it's a really good documentary, a favorite of mine.
