Well this could be interesting? Seattle folks! This Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm, I'll be performing at Lake Union Park as part of an audience directed sound experience. Could be cool, could be something else?

My art collective, the Lacuna Observatory, is having a show in November called Beacon Atlas. Beacon Atlas asks us: What guides us when familiar maps fail? What lights the way when systems go dark. And you can contribute to the art: Call (US number) and tell us who or what YOUR beacon is.
Just got back from an amazing experience at @campbient.bsky.social. if you love nature, field recording, camping, ambient music, and collaborating with talented, creative sound artists from all over the world, I recommend applying next year (February ish?). Truly transformative
a fun chat. Hopefully there are some interesting tidbits for people

Great game audio meetup at Sucker Punch tonight and I just realized I forgot to take a picture, so maybe it didn't happen? Hope to post our talks online soon! #GameAudio
Feels surreal to say this, but I'm on my way to London for the BAFTAs. Never been to an awards show before and never thought I would, but if any other #GameAudio folks are in town, lemme know!
Today was a day I regretted not bringing my hydrophone
When I was a kid, we'd flip our Jecklin disks on their sides and jump on them. It was like sound separation between you and the ground.
Signal boosting this to help Kyle and Laryssa get the support they need right now
My partner and best friend Kyle suffered from two strokes last week. We need your help. gofund.me/e25c60dfb Anything helps, a like, a share, a donation. thank you for your support during this difficult time ❤️

When given a chance to talk about our Foley system in Ghost of Yōtei, you will undoubtedly hear me gush and rave incessantly and claim it's the first time I've

Watching the movie Dust Bunny. Highly recommended. It's as if Jean-Pierre Juenet & Marc Caro made another movie that was funny, mildly terrifying, and absolutely beautiful
Farewell #GameAudio. I guess they're hiring audio people to be OB/GYNs now. They're gonna be so disappointed when they learn I'm not that kind of doctor, but I'll probably end up with some cool recordings!
FINALLY getting around to posting some stuff about #GhostOfYotei. Starting off with ambience, showing some of my favorite recordings from Hokkaido and elsewhere and talking just a little about our Sound Scene tech. #GameAudio #FieldRecording. bradleymeyer.com/wp-core/?p=837
The Sound Design of Ghost of Yōtei: Ambience
Ambience is such a crucial part of what makes a Ghost game a Ghost game: it provides a time machine for the player, whisking them back to a believable version o

It sounds like other people were having more fun than us, but this was a super fun chat!
New season of Beards, Cats, And Indie Game Audio has started! First episode is talking with @audiogre.bsky.social when we were at GameSoundCon last year. It was not as quiet as I hoped but it was real nice to sit outside for this :) #gameaudio indiegameaudio.podbean.com/e/beards-cat...
Been a fan of BCAIGA and @mattesque.bsky.social for a long time now, so I was honored when he asked me to be on. It was a fun chat that went on for another hour or so after he stopped recording. I hope we don't ramble too much 😂
so I still hate editing my own podcast, listening to yourself talk sucks, but this interview I did back at GSC last year was so fun. could really chat with @audiogre.bsky.social for ages. first episode of the new season of Beards, Cats, And Indie Game Audio out on the 15th. #gameaudio
Next in my series of "I guess I'm a hoarder" just found my original dongle for Cubase (ver 3 maybe?) circa 1997. It plugged into your PC parallel port (also used for printers) in the days before usb
Just got back from vacation and saw Ghost of Yōtei longlisted for the BAFTA for Audio Achievement. What an honor for the team! Seeing the other titles, it's been a hell of a year for great sounding games. 🎧 And beyond those listed are many others that may not have had the time/resources to submit
Apparently I go on vacation to record squeaky toilet lids
Just had to reset the date/time on my F3 and realized the year range is 2021 - 2050, which means I've got 25 years left before I start confusing myself
Operation Clean Out continues. Finally laying this messenger bag to rest after 21 years. Met a fresh faced Reggie Fils Aime who MCd the event and talked to a programmer to figure out how to make dynamic ambient tracks. The DS was a fun piece of tech to work on
Reorganizing/de-hoarding my cables for the first time in probably a decade. The number of midi cables and speaker wire I have is a bit insane. I haven't even got to the micro USBs or HDMI yet.

My highlight for the night is that I designed a Halloween soundscape to play outside that was so scary we only got 2 trick or treaters 😂
#GameSoundCon is a wrap (for me). So fun and so great to see so many friends and meet new ones. Only regret is not getting to spend enough time with enough people. It'd been 2 years since I went to a conference and I nearly forgot how much I love the #GameAudio community ❤️
Our lead sound designer, Josh Lord, and I are giving a talk at #GameSoundCon this year about the audio system improvements we crafted for Ghost of Yōtei. I'm really excited about this talk and am so proud of these systems that the team built. bradleymeyer.com/wp-core/2025...

Finally looking at the #GameSoundCon schedule and it's the same old thing: so many interesting, overlapping talks that I want to see. Since we're living in the future now, we should be able to watch and listen to two talks at a time. One in the left ear/eye and one in the right

#GhostOfYotei is out and I can't be more proud of our audio team across sound design, music, dialogue and cinematics. So much love & detail has been poured into the sonic world we've built. I'll start sharing anecdotes and videos once I finish celebrating and recovering from celebrating 🥳 #GameAudio
thanks for doing my job for me @lorderk.bsky.social. 😀 Also our soundtrack IS pretty darn special IMHO. LOTS of ear worms in Toma's work.
Ghost of Yōtei soundtrack is now available to stream or buy on all major platforms! It's so so good. Tomo Otowa is brilliant, and our music teams produced the heck out of it. Enjoy! soundtracks.lnk.to/ghostofyotei
