Welcome to 2026 Australian Biophysics enthusiasts! A throwback to our annual meeting in November, with all our amazing prize winners. Hope to see you all again in Bendigo, 22-26 November!
And that brings #ASB2025 to an end - so many awards! Well done to everyone who won amongst a very high standard of science throughout the week. See you all next year in Bendigo!
Hearty congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Matthew Baker @phatmattbaker.bsky.social who was awarded the MacAulay-Hope Prize for originality and innovation in #biophysics at the @aus-soc-biophys.bsky.social meeting #ASB2025 at Griffith University Gold Coast campus.
Fantastic talk by @phatmattbaker.bsky.social as the McAuley-Hope prize recipient for 2025! A highly entertaining and informative journey through Matt's biophysics journey and the incredible bacterial flagellar motor.
Thank you Toby Allen and Ben Corry for that beautiful story, celebrating the life, work, and impact on our biophysics community that the late Shin-Ho Chung had. Now for a special session all about ion channels! #ASB2025
Invited speaker highlight: Chris Garvey (TU Munich) on using SANS to map nanoscale membrane changes in marine organisms under ocean warming. Biophysics for a changing world. 🌊✨ #ASB2025
