One problem with using AI for illustrations is that it invalidates other illustrators looking for work and to showcase their creativity.

I don't personally get the rule of three. I mean if we can have a cast of like 50 characters why do we need only 3? Sure it may be more memorable but still. Also sometimes my stories need to talk about more than just three things or conflicts. But you know how I am, I break the rules. 😏
Does anyone still buy books at a bookstore anymore? I typically use Amazon or just go to the library.
Part of the charm in Junie B Jones is to see what kind of shit she gets up to. I don't like her as a person and yes I yell at the book but I think she's interesting to read about. I would say she's part of the inspiration for me in writing kids like Natila and such even if Natila is much kinder.
Parents banning Junie B Jones for misbehavior and incorrect grammar and spelling has always been crazy to me. They're just entertainment not moral lessons. We've had bratty kids since The Secret Garden if not before. I have some asshole kids too you gonna try to ban kids from enjoying my books?
#AwesomeCharacters I think many of my characters would be pretty honest and self aware about the struggles they're going through. The younger ones might defend themselves a bit more but as they get older they may grow mentally too. I think the antiheroes however would think they're doing right.

I feel so worried and bad for the #writingcommunity. They got so much talent and I want to read their creative books but it's so brutal out here finding an agent and a publisher.

#AwesomeCharacters No my picture book is about a character learning to love themselves and their looks. They get hurt easily by what the other kids say about them even when they're not trying to be mean.

The fact that the monster learns to love his looks and realize how beautiful he actually is. As someone who struggled with looks all her life that is healing and I hope it can heal other children who struggle with their body or not being beautiful. #PitchDis!

The fact that people are defending AI on Facebook for creative writing really saddens me. Just look at all the bad stories created by a machine. The best stories and creativity come from the human mind not a generic hyper logical machine.

I'm hoping to get this new picture book ready before then. I came up with the idea months maybe a year ago but I just started really writing it weeks ago. Otherwise usually it takes me a few weeks or so tops to write a picture book from initial conception to completion. #PitchDis!

All good things must come to an end. I wish people wouldn't keep making shows, movies, and books forever just because the franchise is popular. If you run out of ideas, you don't have to keep going. Eventually people will get tired of them. So think about how you may want it to end.
