“Gender affirming care for minors” can be as simple as me, their teacher, using their preferred name and pronouns. It’s that simple. Support. Love. Respect. Affirming clothing. Therapy. These are the things the right chooses to demonize under the umbrella of trans healthcare for minors.

It’s been so needlessly demonized and the position has been so thoroughly capitulated to that I think people forget it’s actually a good thing. A Grammy award winning artist had gender affirming surgery at 16. It’s a great thing!
