🎉 Big news! Last night, Ava's Board of Directors overwhelmingly approved a 1 year extension of the Ava Bike Electric program, with an additional $3M investment to keep the program running through December 2027 (instead of December 2026). The final rebate drawing will take place in September 2027.
Ava wouldn't be what is it is today without the leadership of Scott Haggerty. As a County Supervisor and visionary for bringing community choice energy to Alameda County, Haggerty was a founding member of Ava (then called East Bay Community Energy) and served as the first Chair of our Board.
