I just realized that Yakuza is one of those franchises I enjoyed my time with, but can't really go back and play them again. Not because they're bad, but moreso that they are big time sinks that basically ask you to do everything, which is a lot of time for beat em up games.

The script for my last video of the year is done and GOOD LORD IT IS LONGER THEN WHAT I WAS EXPECTING! Was expecting maybe an hour, not an hour and 38 minutes of just talking (excluding clips). I have my work cut out for me.

Not gonna lie, playing Fortune's Weave is intrancing, but also exhasting. I am nearly halfway through Dietrich's Path and I am starting to feel the bloat of the game. If I wasn;t playing other games, I would not be playing this game for about a chapter or an hour every day or 2.

This just makes me sad. I have been enjoying my time going through Layton for the first time, grew up on the first Fantasy Life, and was engrossed in Dragon Quest VIII, so seeing them go this low with Ai and how Decapolice looks, I think I am jumping off the sinking ship.

Whatever you're imagining in your head for how the Level-5 presentation looked, trust me the reality is much worse. There is not even a lick of shame about AI use in this company

New Direct was pretty darn good. Getting a new 2D Metroid that takes palce after Dread, Xenoblade 3 Switch 2 Additions look really cool and fun, Protoman in Dual Override, and a new Kirby game that looks to take Forgotten land and expand on it. We are eating.
