This needs to be a bigger story. Google Docs is no longer safe for copyrighted material. Any writer on contract needs to stop using it *immediately*.

Drafted an entire thread about my husband's job situation and my art block and the discouragement of house shopping on a teacher's salary when your job situation is tenuous and the housing market is ludicrous, then deleted it because life is on fire rn for everyone and nobody needs to see that
I can say with absolute sincerity that if AI disappeared tomorrow my personal workflow would not change in the slightest, and my telephone experience (specifically calling into companies like my pharmacy, bank, and any other system with an automated service) would be significantly improved.

On our trip to the coast we stopped at the Bonneville Dam to see the fish ladders 🐟 There were SALMON Making their way upstream And we could see them through a viewing window Also, the hatchery there has an 85-year-old sturgeon. I saw him 20 years ago and he’s STILL THERE
Half of our drive has been gorgeous and the other half has been like this due to fires in Oregon.

I have a core memory tied to this drawing. No red flags during the lineart stage, but the second I started watercoloring, I realized something was off. Turns out I was painting on the back of the page, which didn't absorb anything and wasn't made for watercolors. Oops. XD
I’m about to DNF a book and I HATE doing that but it is so 🌸poorly🌸 written🌸 that I just can’t take it. I’m not feeling the character motivations; the author is explaining everything in middle-grade terms. I loved the premise but I didn’t check out a published novel for bad crossover fanfic vibes.
Just so everyone knows, the miniseries "The Other Bennet Sister" is on Britbox and it is so precious and hit me in every feel and you all should watch it. Also, I've discovered it's based on a book, as so many things are, and I've put it on hold at the library but I may not be able to wait 18 weeks.
Despite it being 107F outside, cold showers are still miserable 😫
raise a glass to that one semester I forgot my final comparing the entire history of theater with the entire history of some other art form until the day it was due and I spent 8 hours in the computer lab with an art history book and my notes from the semester to write a 16-page annotated report

It's 9 am and already 90F (32C) and our water heater is on the fritz and won't be fixed until Tuesday and I have a CT scan scheduled tomorrow and we're supposed to be getting the house ready to sell and shopping for a place to live but I'm short of breath and my husband's job situation is tenuous
