Any investment in reproductive healthcare access will also reduce the need for more costly emergency interventions later on.

The San Antonio Reproductive Justice Fund, renamed the Women’s Health Fund, today secured enough votes to make it into the San Antonio Fiscal Year 2027/2028 Budget. Reproductive Justice is about health equity, access, and autonomy for everyone.

We stand in full solidarity with Tierra Walker’s family. Deaths like hers inflict scars down to the bone and beyond. The absence of our mothers alters entire families for generations. Our movement will build power for a Texas where justice governs at the center.
