Some of my 2025 by the numbers: lots of reading, crochet (one project - shawl matching the fingerless gloves - not pictured), writing, and TV! As hard a year as it was, it was also given brightness by my family (nephew pics πŸ™), friends, and the ways that I've felt more strongly, positively myself πŸ’œ

I thought the finale was a good episode in a very uneven season overall, even if it featured some of the same issues as the rest such as pacing and unequal time for the couples. And (giant sigh) they did successfully pull me in for S2 with that ending (unsurprising thb, I’m a soft target).

We've gotten to a better place with Brian + Julia + Davina (though did it really need to take that long to get here?) but I continue to feel, frustratingly, that almost every character is being acted on and thwarted by the narrative far more than they're able to make and actuate any choices
