Fallout 1 is really, really good after you figure out the esoteric game mechanics of reloading and resting
Nine Sols is fucked up because what do you mean they followed up a torture sequence + boss fight against a fascist demon lion man with a fight against toriel undertale so seamlessly
Does anyone have any recommendations for arcade shooters like cod that dont take an entire ssd to play? I mean like mw3. cs2, apex or w/e dont count. I want to run around and get dopamine from killing other player. i dont want to wait around for 10 mins, lose a single encounter and wait 10 more.
Is it too early to ask why Team Cherry added mandatory fetch quests to Silksong
Sometimes you forget that toby fox is simultaneously an annoying dog and a genuine genius bundled with peerless perseverance and drive
Its fascinating how silksong recontextualizes void. Like, in HK, void is your friend. Your buddy. Sure it needs unified, but together you stand against the radiance. Silksong void wants nothing more than to completely fuck your entire shit up. Its a genuinely terrifying presence.
Finished (the first ending of) silksong and I love Lace. Anyway, imo the games difficulty is born from the player not having access to tools that are essential, and HK had this exact problem (only HK was a lot simpler mechanically). Theres a reason nobody complains about the later game difficulty.
100% the vibe but I'd have hoped TC would be wise enough to do layman play testing
Going through Silksong it's pretty clear it was made by a dedicated and obsessive group of guys that were so used to playing their own game they forgot what it was like to be a normal person. I'm absolutely loving it but shits crazy. It's meaner than a Dark Souls game.
At 107% in my last minute hollow knight playthrough and like man i forgot how lovely the game is That being said, i dearly hope silksong doesnt do an infected crossroads again (and i hope it has a lot of optional unlocks for fast travel methods)
Thank god they renamed it remote desktop was far too ambiguous
download the Windows App Windows app from the Windows App Store today! it's the app you can use to use Windows
In my 5am stupor really, really wanting to design a terraria calamity randomizer that has logic such that it maintains the core joy of the game while offering a fun twist (As opposed to pokemon randos where the novelty wears off after you get that one fully evolved mon that steamrolls the game)
This is genuinely so sick i would love this style for a full game
Seen on r/godot (by u/stergro), this absolutely made my day. They've made their first game using #GodotEngine for their daughter, using her drawings as levels for a platformer. www.reddit.com/r/godot/comm...
Its insane that its been 5 years since i started my #osrs account Just found the little doodles i did while semi-afk grinding. I used to have sauce fr
Watching Invincible. This Powerplex guy is all like, "I want to see Invincible" and stuff. Dude, he's invincible. How are you going to see him?
Judero is OUT NOW! (please make this go viral!!!) It's a handmade stop motion action adventure based on Scottish folklore We made it over 2.5 years with a small budget and just two people. It's a true passion project for us, and I hope you like it!
How are we feeling about making a platformer playground as a portfolio website? Godot 4.3 makes exporting to html super easy so i am tempted...
I love cave story because i cannot think of another game that locks you out of the good ending for checking if your friend that crash landed right in front of you is okay
December 20, 2004 saw the release of Doukutsu Monogatari, AKA Cave Story, a free game that was quickly translated into English and became the talk of the Internet. It's hard to estimate the impact it had on the indie scene and on the resurgence of 2D outside handheld consoles.
Figure ill make one of them "my interests" list things, Hollow Knight Terraria Calamity Zelda Game dev New vegas Evangelion Dungeon meshi Okami Crosscode Vgm covers Vgm music composition Pokemon (unfortunately) Creature collectors (cassette beasts, temtem) And probably more i cant remember atm
