I don’t understand why socks are sold in packs of six when laundry guarantees I will eventually own six socks and none of them will fucking match.

Arizona Artist/Painter, Photographer, Atheist. Yeah that’s me in the photo👆🏻 Open to commissioned art. Most of my posted art is 4 sale. I’m often funny, sometimes not. I follow back if you’re chill 👍🏻 I’m shirtless & barefoot 99% of each day, doing art.
Sometimes I open the freezer and just stare inside. I’m not looking for anything specific. I’m conducting a cold-weather inventory of how expensive it has gotten to get stuff to put in there.
The moment I get comfortable in bed is when my brain remembers every responsibility I’ve been avoiding, and every idea I have for a painting. Sleep is apparently available after the board meeting. Coffee please…oh, and turn off the alarm I set for morning. Who needs to earn a living anyway.
The less actual snack in the snack bag, the more they expect you to pay for it. Goddamn #shrinkflation, is what it is.
There’s no greater betrayal than buying a snack you’ve been craving, opening it, and discovering the bag is 80% air. I didn’t purchase a snack. I bought a decorative atmosphere pouch.
Being an artist means spending three hours making something nobody asked for, then staring at it for another hour wondering if it’s genius or evidence that I need more sleep. Probably both. My life is a never ending state of confusion.
Imagine if we put half as much energy into making life better for ordinary people as we do arguing over who deserves to be angry. We might actually get somewhere. People always seem to want to be angry, or to argue over nothing. Sometimes the arguments are over something… In that case, vote blue
Why does every waiting room have one magazine that is somehow five years old? At this point it’s not reading material. It’s an archaeological artifact.
Ballot arrived yesterday. Voting early, in person, all blue. Who’s with me? Drop a 💙 and a 🔁 to inspire others. Thanks y’all. Make america boring again. I just want to live without my entire day filled with, “What the fuck did he do this time!” Life shouldn’t be centered around politics. 💙💙💙

I appreciate people who say exactly what they mean. Not because I’m incapable of reading between the lines. But being pm the spectrum, I just don’t understand why we built an entire communication system around making people guess. Just tell me dammit.
That moment when the power goes out and everyone suddenly becomes an expert on how long food can remain refrigerated. Nothing brings a household together like collective panic over mayonnaise.
There’s a point when you’ve been waiting on hold so long that you stop caring about the original problem. Now it’s personal. I don’t even need customer service anymore. I just need someone to pick up so I can win.
I walked into a room and forgot what I needed. Instead of leaving, I stood there long enough to make the situation awkward for everyone, including the furniture and my dogs. I gave them milk bones and they were fine with it after that.
The 2026 midterms are a reminder that elections aren’t only about presidents. House seats ate up for election, along with seats in the Senate. So yes, your vote can matter beyond the person at the top of the ticket. Vote Blue
Why does every package arrive looking like it survived three wars, yet the item inside is wrapped in enough plastic to preserve it until the sun burns out? And when I put in the notes not to ring the doorbell, I mean, don’t ring it. My dogs think the doorbell is their signal to bark for 3 hours.
The worst part of wearing new shoes is pretending they’re comfortable because you already paid for them. My feet know we’ve made a terrible financial decision. Slides it is.
A peaceful world probably starts with people realizing that winning an argument is not worth destroying a relationship, a community, or the entire comment section. It probably also helps to vote blue. Normal would be nice. Make America Boring Again.
I don’t always struggle with social interaction. Sometimes I understand exactly what’s happening. I just don’t understand why we’re all pretending this is an efficient way to communicate.
There’s like totally a satisfaction I get from successfully fixing something with duct tape. It doesn’t matter if it’s safe. For approximately six minutes, I was an engineer.
I like when someone says, “Take your time.” Thank you. I will now take exactly three times longer because you have officially removed all urgency from the situation. 2 days later they are texting and calling me.
That moment at Winco when I’m carrying too many things and someone asks, “Need help?” No. I need a third hand, a cart, and better decision-making skills. And can you grab me a jar of pickles? Thanks.
The microwave hitting zero and immediately screaming at me is one of the rudest beginnings to any meal. Give me five seconds to emotionally prepare. Groceries cost too much to add additional trauma to my chicken and broccoli.
I hate when someone says, “You have something on your face,” and then takes three business days to tell me what it is. What am I supposed to do, wonder about it professionally? Just tell me what and where. Whatever you do, don’t reach out and try to touch me. I will freak out.
There should be a national holiday for returning something to its proper place immediately after using it. I would celebrate it enthusiastically and then forget what day it was. I would also forget where I put the damned thing.
I have no problem admitting I talk to animals like they understand me. What bothers me is that they never answer questions directly. My dogs just wag their tails and look at me. They are not great at conversation, but they are good at confusing me.
I am a tually glad my ceiling fan makes a little humming sound when it’s on. I don’t trust silent ceiling fans. If you’re spinning above me without making a sound, what exactly are you planning? Keep me informed please.
