I think the three things that genuinely would stop me from pursuing this is 1. I'm making a cartoon 2. I'm very divided on games that just clone existing games 3. There's like four SSX-likes in development right now (that I have mixed opinions on) (but the market is already getting oversaturated)

LRT get an N64 off ebay or at your local game shop and get a flashcart to play every game. And if that part of your brain says you need it to support HDMI 4K, get an AV2HDMI converter and suck it up. Multihundred dollar alternatives aint worth it, especially not to pay war criminals.
