I'm just a small potatoes D&D content creator with a special love for converting older D&D content to 5e to publish on DMsGuild. Other than that I love to repost TTRPG-related memes and cat pictures. Check me out all over: https://linktr.ee/azzygm

We're fresh off our first convention presence and HOT DAMN am I pleased. The interest in L.O.R.E. was stellar--every time I said "D&D x Final Fantasy Tactics" our booth goers went 👀 Almost 100 mailing list sign ups, lots of new friends (who won free dice) and a great time.

We'll be our first REAL, physical presence starting tomorrow at Ragecon in #reno, hopefully to drum up some excitement for L.O.R.E. and meet some real #ttrpg nerds. We are 100% over-prepped, ready to chat into infinity, and I'm assuming we've already forgotten 20 things.

A basic promo poster for LORE, a fantasy ttrpg, featuring its cast of "legend" characters on the front. An adverting poster for Antiquarian Games (that's us), with a QR code that takes you to our mailing list sign up page and other resources.

What started as an annoyance with the direction of D&D in the form of new systems and redone character creation, L.O.R.E. became its own #ttrpg wholly manifested on merit. Infinitely customizable, deep, and satisfying, I'm beyond excited for folks to get their hands on it.

The LORE logo placed on an ancient, overgrown battlefield, feature two of the game's Legend characters: Takeko (right), a half-Druj Sword Saint, and Alethia (left), a Merfolk Valkyrie, seemingly squaring off against one another.

I'm pretty sure Takeko takes this duel. Sword Saints are glass canons, but have incredibly survivability against single targets, and Valkyries tend to be generalist with only a partial focus on martial capability.

A game of legends and tales, L.O.R.E. is an expansive #TTRPG with endless character options: 👹26 Customizable Races/Species 🏯20 Customizable Cultures 📒 Dozens of Background Traits 🧙‍♂️70 Classes Build what you want with over 1,200 powers and deep customization. Coming Soon.

A forest vista view of a lake overshadowed by a great tree, with Sifa the Sky Gnome seated on a fallen tree trunk, the LORE Logo in the front with a tagline of "Build your Legend" under it.

Flaws too can add to your background, allowing you to sacrifice some kind of capability for a boost. Like Background Traits, Flaws stick with you throughout the game, and may drastically change how you play, or give you just enough extra to grab that essential feature.

A list of flaws:

Fulfilled Contract. Makes you indebted to a Devil or Hag, with them sending minions to collect your soul at the most inconvenient times.

Haunted. You are straight up haunted, with a ghost or other spirit that follows you around and makes your life so, so very difficult. A list of flaws:

Chronic Illness. Wake up to a bad day. Triggers more often than not. It's always bad.

Damage Sponge. All damage hurts.

Deaf. You're deaf.

Limb Condition. You're missing a limb or its permanently disabled.

Mute. You're mute.

Let's start with Character Creation. More than just a bundle of attributes, the plethora of creations options are designed to shape your choices both narratively and mechanically. Split between your Heritage, Background, and Motivations, the customization is staggering. #ttrpg #gamedesign #indie

Suppose I should mention this? I do have a published novel: The Soul of Chaos is a dark, epic fantasy in the vein of Malazan thru the lens of Berserk. It's a wild ride of serious stakes, in a world that doesn't fall victim to its own tropes and treats you like an adult. 🔗⤵️ a.co/d/0eP6fSZq

The cover of The Soul of Chaos, which features it's two protagonists, Rurik and Arkalis, in various heroic poses. Rurik is in the foreground, a weathered man with long, black hair, a messy beard, and highly sophisticated armor wielding a glaive.

Behind him is his sister, Arkalis, a red-haired warrior wielding a blade of obsidian, wearing a mish-mash of clothes, surrounded by dark magic.A map of the Realm of Order, the setting of The Soul of Chaos, showing the 30 major regions of the world, which is broken up to 5 continents, a massive archipelago and several more island chains strewn about.

The realm is about half the size of earth with VERY different physics, as the edge of the world is, quite literally, the edge of physical existence.

For L.O.R.E., we're publishing short stories, or "Legendary Tales", to illustrate our official setting. Fortunately, our Creative Director (it's me, hi), also happens to be an author. What do you say, #ttrpg friends, is that something that interests you?
