Style ribbons - that box with heading 1 or paragraph text etc in Word - are your best friend. So is Outline View. Why? So you can tell what is actually a heading semantically (structurally)! #ttrpg
Accessibility Awareness@a11yawareness.bsky.social · 3d agoFor screen readers to recognize headings, heading text can't just be body text or normal text that's been made to look bigger and bolder. It must be formatted as a heading. In Microsoft Word and Google Docs, this can be done in the styles box. In HTML, use the tags h1 through h6.

I was heartened to see that a thread on r/AskUK enquiring as to reasons why folk had stopped using local businesses was full of "because their menus/posters/social media are all full of genAI slop" and lots of support for the position.

Worse yet, the system will remember the fail state output (if it's repeated outside the query) and poison itself, creating a slow rolling column of erroneous data that will eventually overtake actual answers that might be found in the future.
The more esoteric, nuanced, or novel the query and information, the less likely the database can provide an answer with sufficient basic statistical power. If it then requires meta analysis, the neural net will fail over into a probability state that has nothing to do with your actual search.
we also need to be loud about rejecting services and products *because* of AI if you can, take company surveys after terminating services and explain AI integration is the reason for canceling make a stink. be a karen against ai and chew out some middle manager for their companys use of AI
I have not and never will use AI to write, conceptualize, illustrate, or otherwise produce anything, especially anything that I'd ask people to buy. I leave pages that insist on making me text with a chatbot. The only place I "use" it is the Google summary, but even then I try to find the source.
