The object permanence thing in ADHD is very real. My boyfriend hid the bathroom key to prank me. It took us 6 months to find it because he IMMEDIATELY forgot where he put it. It was under the biggest cushion on our couch. He wanted to do a "the princess and the pea" joke. 6 months.
