What a lot of people fail to understand is that the real valu is NOT in the act of producing something, be it code, visual, music. You name it. The value is in the experience, the skill of someone that practiced their craft for thousands of hours.
Yeah... this video is pointing something I've been saying since the start of "agentic": The problem is NOT to output code fast. The problem is to create a good mental model of how the code works, and agentic actually makes that worse. So no suprise there is no gains.

There is a very easy way to put a stop to this AI non sense: make the model creators responsible for the LLM's output. The LLM is doing copyright infrigment? Sued. Its outputing receipe for weapons? Sued. Its hacking wathever? Sued.

I see coding just as I see drawing or music making. The craft is as important as the end product. Its through difficulties, learning etc that you become good at a craft and that you end up producing good stuff. 1/2
The crazy part about coding agents, is that for the end users, seamingly, nothing changed at all. We just have more crap on the play store and Steam... As if these things did nothing at all but lowering the barrier for people to do stuff without understanding it.
