Accessibility Awareness@a11yawareness.bsky.social · 2y agoSome folks are suggesting that the alt text field can be used to get around the 300 character limit on Bluesky, as alt text here has a much higher character limit. This is terrible advice, and if you do this, know you'll confuse and annoy a lot of screen reader users. That's not a good thing to do.
