Canada is in a place now where food that we grow here often gets shipped internationally for processing, before being shipped *back here* for purchase. That just doesn't make sense, especially when we're trying to cut back on transport emissions. Very glad to see some movement towards fixing this.

Stornoway, official residence of Canada’s Leader of the Official Opposition, is 9,500 square feet and served by a staff of three: a chef, chauffeur, and household administrator. Canada is the only western democracy to fund a residence for the Official Opposition. Time to sell or repurpose it.
