I should not have gone away for a week and a half without giving my husband specific instructions to check the garden for vegetables on a daily basis. 🥒🌱
Canada is in a place now where food that we grow here often gets shipped internationally for processing, before being shipped *back here* for purchase. That just doesn't make sense, especially when we're trying to cut back on transport emissions. Very glad to see some movement towards fixing this.

My garden is blooming in multiple hues. But it is eerily low on pollinators. The bergamot is usually emitting a noisy hum from multiple species, but there are only a handful of bees. 👩🌾🌸🐝🦋
A broken climate is lasting, so he's half right I guess. Right now I am "benefiting" from both extreme heat AND forest fire smoke.
The world wants to do more with Canada. Our MOU with Alberta will unlock those opportunities in energy — and create lasting benefits for Canadians.
This enrages me. Our more-than-human kin cannot speak up for themselves or protect themselves from us.

Let's move the PM into Stornoway. That will save taxpayers even more. Pollievre should be all for it. He doesn't want us to spend a penny on Sussex Drive.
Stornoway, official residence of Canada’s Leader of the Official Opposition, is 9,500 square feet and served by a staff of three: a chef, chauffeur, and household administrator. Canada is the only western democracy to fund a residence for the Official Opposition. Time to sell or repurpose it.
