Dozens of shadow fleet tankers have traversed the English Channel since promises of tougher stance. Danish Straits see about the same numbers. BBC is not clear on if they mean flagless or flagged tankers, but either way there are lots. Pic related, sanctioned tankers this minute.

Apparently we really are still clinging to the idea that we can't provoke Russia cos we have an amazing military & we have serious red lines & if you cross us it's war. Even as we near the 5th year of this disaster. Seek help.

It is certainly official. US administration has totally lost their marbles. Why do you need enemies when you have former allies like this?

I think these discussions are a bit silly if they start from the premise that Russia would be threatening the existence of UK or France. It won't. What is at risk is the independence and alignment of the countries near Russia. And of them, France and UK have made deals with Russia before.
Trump is trying to dismantle Nato by tearing it apart with internal disputes and even by invading sovereign western territory.

Well actually, Envoy Kellogg, the Finnish President Sauli Niinistö contradicted President Trump in 2017, when the latter falsely claimed 🇫🇮 had decided to purchase US jets. The actual decision was eventually made in 2021, after a super tough procurement process.

This was directly dictated by Russia, as was Pete Hegseth's speech. In Trump's world, with neither law nor principles, there is no longer an aggressor or an aggressed one, a culprit or a victim, but submission to the one who appears—wrongly—to be the strongest. Everything depends on Europe now.
