Dear Democrats, You will never be able to triangulate your way through racism/sexism/transphobia, because pushing a lighter, politer form of bigotry is always a lose-lose proposition. The bigots want the uncut stuff, while normal people aren't drawn to cowards who sell out. Stand your ground.
What impresses me most about Susan Collins campaign is how bad it is. I know voters are vote whatever they want, but I struggle to see how "calling and thanking Susan Collins" is a winning strategy. Telling Mainers what to do seems like a good way to not do something.

The thing liberals fundamentally don't understand is that trans people are losing rights they already had. We're not asking for more, we're asking not to lose what we already had for decades. Most sports leagues and the Olympics had inclusion criteria for decades without issue.
