I saw @behrenstimb.bsky.social talk about this work at @bacn.co.uk a couple of weeks ago, and it blew my mind. Absolutely lovely work.
I’m super excited to finally put my recent work with @behrenstimb.bsky.social on bioRxiv, where we develop a new mechanistic theory of how PFC structures adaptive behaviour using attractor dynamics in space and time! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
Fantastic work by @tessamdekker.bsky.social investigating how “what we know” influences “what we see” across development, including both young and aging populations
Really enjoying #BACN2025 so far - *amazing* vegan vegetarian catering and exciting talks. Our symposium is on NOW, so please pop by
On the train back from Edinburgh #BACN25 with my head buzzing from all the great cognitive neuroscience. Loads of enthusiastic, supportive discussion from everyone I talked to so a really great conference!
That’s a wrap! Thoroughly enjoyed my time at @bacn.co.uk. Looking forward to next year, in Brighton 🏖️🎡 @sarahgarf.bsky.social
Had a great first day at #BACN25 - fantastic talks (special mention to @nadinedijkstra.bsky.social) and posters 🤓; lovely people and atmosphere ✨️; nice food 🌱; and boooiii what a gorgeous campus 👌🤩 Also really enjoyed our symposium on the self in information processing 🙋; and the ceilidh 👯♂️
Looking forward to presenting my poster at #BACN25 later today! Please stop by to chat about how our brains represent scenes of different categories
This year, I spent March–June at the University of Oregon, working with @mmarneweck.bsky.social on an fMRI analysis of the representational pattern similarity of lip and hand movements after upper-limb amputation. Excited to share this at #BACN25 ✨ Find me at the datablitz/poster sessions on Friday!
Was meant to be presenting at #BACN25 on Thursday. Unfortunately, COVID has decided otherwise. My poster will still make an appearance though. Even better? It’s presented by @aidanhorner.bsky.social instead! Go check it out on Thursday along with other lab posters on narratives, objects and schema.
🚪🧠 Ever wondered if walking through doors really changes your memory? At #ESCOP25 today I’m at Board 19 showing how spatiotemporal boundaries impact recall in VR. Although time matters, it’s more to do with using it effectively!
Edinburgh looking stunning on the first day of #BACN25 - if the science is as good as this view I’ll be very happy!
Day 1 posters at #BACN25. @bethlongley.bsky.social @oliwiastecko.bsky.social @chatrins.bsky.social @wilsonlimph.bsky.social presenting a variety of work from the lab, interoceptive protocols, heart-memory, computational modelling & emotion regulation
Always a pleasure to hear the exciting work in a fast presentation data blitz session. From my lab, @oliwiastecko.bsky.social detailing the unexpected journey replicating prior work on memory & the heart. Find out more in poster #4 at #BACN2025
#BACN25 continues with a symposium on "Neural re-use of sensory representations during higher-level cognitive processing"
#BACN25 started off with the Early Career Award talk by Christopher Madan (@engra.me). bsky.app/profile/engr...
I'm really looking forward to giving the opening talk for #BACN25! "Memory², Methods, and Mentorship: Four facets of my research journey thus far" Not too long left to wait!
Watch #BACN25 today and tomorrow for the latest in UK cognitive neuroscience! Follow @bacn.co.uk for even more after the conference.
And we’re off! Jamie Ward opening @bacn.co.uk #BACN2025 in Edinburgh with prize talk by @engra.me detailing his work and service to the scientific community

See you tomorrow at #BACN25!!
Looking forward to travelling to Edinburgh tomorrow for the annual meeting of @bacn.co.uk. Gret meeting in a great city! #BACN25
Very much looking forward to #BACN25 in Edinburgh this week. We'll have five posters from the lab on the first day of conference, so come check them all out! #psychscisky #neuroskyence #cognition
