Bahfiddle's first time playing new material live in like 15 years in Daylight Glasnevin last Friday (first time ever with a bassist). All three shows ripped, but Drogheda was special. Three shows in a row has me feeling insane. I feel like I should be lugging a load of drum hardware to a train.

A builders' van for an attic conversion company pulled up across the road from me on my bike commute this morning. The 3 lads in the cab all pointed and laughed at me out the window. I am presuming it was my cycling gear but I was wearing this rad vintage cycling top so it doesn't make sense.

At the darts in the 3 an older Tipperary man rocked up to the 5/6 men waiting to piss in the disability toilet and said "lads I'm disabled let me through". After he was finished, he confessed to the queue "sorry lads, I was just bursting". I don't see a card as an answer. Larry David politics.

Walked out to breakfast there and 2 lads coming in the opposite direction held open the double doors of the canteen for me. I stopped and hit them with an "it's a double door so plenty of room for all of us" wave, but 2 young builders overtook me and went straight through the open doors. Humiliated.
