Since everyone else is musing about their #GDC I will chime in. I'm what I would call industry adjacent, I am a Game Dev Teacher, so my goals are pretty different. I got to lead a pair of Roundtables for k12/youth teachers which was a major goal for me.
Another #GDC. It's been a challenging year, but few things charge me up more than seeing so many teachers trying to get better at helping kids make games. I'm so happy hearing from teachers that got to come to GDC because of these roundtables.

#GDC is here! It still doesn't feel real that after years of trying, I finally got a k12 and Youth Ed focused session on the program. For a long time I have tried to time up my colleagues, furiously badge-checking, hours in the networking app.
Kids in bed. Christmas morning ready. Whiskey poured. Finished up #AEW dynamite. Now just sitting back watching hangman not do a damn thing wrong. Happy Holidays sickos!

Unsolicited Game opinion. I don't feel qualified to say anything is game of the year. But #Dispatch absolutely slaps. An unapologetic game that knows exactly what it is and how it wants to go about it. Some of the best dialogue I've seen in a game.
#aew needs to put in a Women's C2 this year, the division is red hot and has so much depth.
How the hell is #aew just dropping THAT dynamite on TV for free? That was a great PPV, let alone a TV episode.
Been loaded up by work, but I still exist! These kids ain't gonna make games themselves. (well a few of them might) Also just got in @themonstersknow.com 's new book. Can't wait to have time to actually read it. Just gotta survive to November, then back to development on my #ttrpg TWENTY FLIGHTS.

Today is a bit of an odd milestone for me. I have been teaching #gamedev for 12 years now. I have had past students working in AAA, indie and all points in between. But today I found out that some of my old students made an indie studio and released their first game today. I am old.
